Dr. Allison Blatt
My name is Dr. Allison Blatt, and I am a Toronto native. I graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1993. I was then fortunate to head South to the Bluegrass State, Kentucky, for my dental education at the University of Louisville. I graduated dental school in 1997, and I remained in Louisville for an additional year in order to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. I joined College Street Dentistry in August of 2015, while still working in my own family’s dental practice. From my first day of work at CSD, the entire staff treated me like family. It really was an easy transition for me, and it allowed me to advance my skills as a general dentist, both from a technical standpoint and from a treatment planning standpoint.
Dentistry keeps me very interested. It is ever changing and the challenge is to keep up with it by reading, watching webinars and attending continuing education seminars. I have to admit that I really enjoy performing root canals for patients, and it is even more satisfying to me to hear the patient say, “Well, that was much more manageable than I expected it to be!” That is the best compliment a dentist could ever receive.
When I’m not in the office, I love watching and attending sporting events (especially baseball) with my son. I also enjoy taking my dog for a nice walk and enjoying a good movie!
Dr. Aneesha Dev
Dr. Aneesha Dev received both her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and French and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto. In an effort to broaden her experiences in dentistry she moved to New York City and completed a hospital-based residency program (GPR) at Montefiore Medical Centre.
Since moving back to Toronto, Dr. Aneesha has been practicing all aspects of dentistry while always focusing on providing the healthiest smile for patients of all ages.
Dr. Aneesha is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. She is an avid music lover who enjoys sports, writing and traveling.
Dr. Karn Dev
Dr. Karn Dev received his dental degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to this he had completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. After receiving his doctorate he moved to New York City and completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This program focused on advanced general dentistry skills, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He then went on for further training with an implant and cosmetic dentistry program at Montefiore Medical Center where he was appointed Chief Resident. In addition, Dr. Karn has completed a comprehensive implantology program at Columbia University in NYC.
Dr. Karn aims to achieve the best esthetic result by applying a conservative cosmetic dental approach based on the advanced training he has received. He takes pride in knowing that he offers quality care based on individual needs and wants of his patients of all ages.
Dr. Karn is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has recently served as President of the York Region Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Karn enjoys trying new restaurants, staying in shape, and kicking back with a good movie.
